VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Remember, we should celebrate our lovers each and everyday.  Society has invented one special day out of 365, to commercialize "Love". Consumers spend 13-14 billion dollars on Valentine's Day. Wow!  Funny, because after doing research it has absolutely no affiliation to the Saint Valentine. All findings are strictly myth.

  1. Good luck with that... I can't wait to get my v-day gifts. You better ask somebody about Pretty Ricky.

  5. I don't really sweat the whole flowers and candy thing on Valentine's Day, but it is nice to get a "just thinking of you" gesture every now and then.

  6. Sorry, I like getting mine all throughout the year. That one day when they jack up the prices on everything does not bother me. When we take the time to give from the heart just because and whenever, these commercialized holdiays wouldnt matter. How much sense does it make for my loved one to spend $200 on a dozen flowers and the next day they are half dead and cost only $19.99. I can find something better to do with $180 besides watch it dwindle. I like to surprise him with my "Just Because" gifts. He never knows when they are coming, but when they do he knows its from the heart and full of love. By the time a holiday comes he just looks at it as another day because of what he gets on a regular. Every day is special in my relationship, and that perfect gift is knowing that we have each other!

  7. I think most women EXPECT something on this day. I haven't given my husband a gift since we've been married.
