10 STEREOTYPES ABOUT BLACK MEN

1. ALL BLACK MEN ARE WELL ENDOWED
It is recorded that a WHITE man from Brooklyn owns the worlds largest penis. I will survey 10 black women that will say that their current  or most recent partner is not very well endowed. So I pose the question; does size really matter?

2. THEY DON"T LIKE TO WORK
A man by nature wants to provide for his family. While Black men suffer from the highest rates of unemployment in America, it is not related to choice. Society says that the black male is "under qualified", and lacks the educational level to maintain decent employment. Now there are some that  don't want to work to avoid their paternal responsibilities, but even that exists with other races as well. "Not wanting to work" is a negative stereotype of black men that is certainly not true.

3. THE BEST IN BED
I think that might be a 50/50 call. Ladies weigh in, let me know.

4. GREAT ATHLETES
Some relate this to the whole genetic theory, dating back to slavery. Any major sporting event features an array of fit, testosterone-filled black men. But, ‘Look at them! Now look at your man! And back to them! Now look at your man!’..Lol. Although there have been alot of great black athletes in sports. ALL BLACK MEN ARE NOT ATHLETIC!!!

5. BLACK MEN ARE PLAYERS
Popular urban culture and Hollywood have perpetuated the myth of the black man as a player. This is in fact not true of only black men. All human beings must actively resist polygamy in their lives because of the pressures of evolution, which tell us to procreate with as many people as possible, and society dictates that we remain faithful to our chosen partner.

6. BLACK MEN LOVE WHITE WOMEN
This one depends largely on who you ask. Interracial marriage is on the rise in America and the perception that black men like white women may stem from the fact that it is becoming more socially acceptable and therefore more common. In the end, a man and a woman will be together for reasons of personal compatibility, not race.

7. BLACK MEN DON'T TAKE CARE OF THEIR CHILDREN
A GOOD black man will be a wonderful father to his children no matter what the circumstances. The trick is to avoid those who might take the easy way out of hard circumstances – of these there are plenty and they’re all shapes, sizes and colors.

8. HE'S BEEN IN JAIL

Videos, urban and pop cultures have played on this perception to the point that those who unfamiliar with black people maintain this crazy idea. Some black males wear a jail stint like a badge of honor in today's society. Therefore, the youth idolize this perception.

9. GOOD DANCERS
The only reason people become known for dancing well is that one good mover can overshadow the 5 others who just ran to the exit to avoid being pulled on the dance floor.

10. WIFE BEATERS (VIOLENT)
Thank Ike Turner for this stereotype. In fact, white males have the highest reports of domestic violence in America.

  1. If you can say these things are true of all black men, a women has done a lot of dating or sleeping around. After having conversations with my friends from various ethnic backgrounds, I find that these traits are throughout the male population and its not just "BLACK MEN", it all races. The problem is that people are to quick to buy into societies stereotypes.

  2. #5-If you buy into the theory of evolution, then you are saying that you dont believe in GOD. Anyone can be a player, that is a choice & has nothing to do with evolution. The definition of evolution (Organic evolution is the theoroy that the first living organism developed from lifeless matter. Then, as it reporduced, it is said, it changed into different kinds of living things, ultimately producing all forms of plant and animal life that have never existed on this earth.) Note what the Bible says to be true. (Genesis 1:11,12 says that grass and trees were made to produce each "according to it its kind." Verses 21,24,25 add that God created sea creatures, flying creatures and land animals, each "according to its kind." There is no allowance here for one basic kind to evolve or change into another. Genesis 2:7 adds: "God proceeded to form the man [not out of some preexisting life form but] out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life." There is no hint of evolution here, but, rather, description of new creation.
So the pressure from society and a persons own personal choice or decision is what makes them players!

  3. The old black men love white women, well this is always a good one. It should not be based on color, God created us all equal and we love who we love. All women as well as men should read and understand their roles according to the Bible. Ephesians 5:21-31 clearly outlines roles, in Verse 21 it states, be in subjection to one another in fear of Christ. In Verse 25 God commands husbands to continue loving your wives, just as the Christ also loved the congregation and delivered up himself for it. Verse 28-29 husbands ought to be loving their wives as their own bodies 29 for no man ever hated his own flesh; but he feeds and cherishes it, as the Christ also does the congregation. In Verse 22-23, let wives be in subjection to their husbands as to the Lord, 23 because a husband is head of his wife, as the Christ also is head of the congregation. Also for the wives, continue reading your roles as stated in the Bible 1 Peter 3:1-7. Never once did God state a "Color." This division based on race amongst other things, is a part of Satans trap to get you to side with him. Read and understand your Bible!

  4. Size does matter, but whats most important is comfort. Too large can be very uncomfortable and not enjoyable, it's almost like trying to force a square into a circle. If you keep applying force it will go in eventually, but in the process we women have the pain from discomfort or from tearing. So for you men who are overly endowed, take it easy on a sista make it pleasureable and not painful, because once its in, its in!

  5. The Bible does not state to procreate with many. Genesis 2:18 clearly states that God went on to say "It is not good for the man to continue by himself. I am going to make a helper for him, as a complement of him. This does not state that he was going to create helpers it said "helper" singular. Procreate with many, this is socities standards and not that of God. The world is so busy following society (man) that they are forgetting who created us and what his clear instructions provided in the Bible commands us to do. Always remember that God created humans with something that no other creature has, and that is a conscience free will to choose what is right and what is wrong. The choice that our forefather and mother made for us is the reason we are in the situation that we all are in. They sided with the Devil!
